DESCRIPTION:
Perf™ Catheter Reservoirs consist of a radiopaque ventricular catheter and silicone, elastomer cap with side arm, which are pre-attached to a polysulfone, Rickham style reservoir. The ventricular catheter is available with either an Anti-Blok or Standard tip. The unique PerfCap™ permits the stylet to be inserted through the dome of the reservoir cap to facilitate catheter and reservoir placement as a unit.

A removable polysulfone plug is included to allow conversion of the ventriculostomy reservoir for use as a shunt reservoir.

The reservoir may be tapped with a 25 G or smaller Huber-point needle or equivalent for CSF sampling, injection of antibiotics or contrast media.
